The first four paragraphs are clear. But the fifth and last, what are we supposed to make that one?

Even there, I understand the first part. Someone then says that while not applying logic, he at least hasn't murdered his father. But he makes errors of omission?

The bit about not murdering one’s father is meant to suggest that making errors in logic is not the end of the world. But Epictetus retorts that, in context, making such errors is as bad as it gets.
